YOU NEED "HELP" is a comedic web series that follows a brilliant, but impulsive, young professor whose viral manic episode lands her in a court-ordered support group for people with bipolar disorder. There, she’s thrown into a community of bold, unpredictable, and deeply human characters—each managing their diagnosis in radically different ways. With sharp humor and emotional honesty, YOU NEED "HELP" explores the chaos and comedy of mental illness recovery, challenging stigma and centering those often left out of stories about healing.

According to Mental Health America, nearly 60 million American adults (23.08%) experienced a mental illness in the past year, and more than half of those people did not receive any treatment. The reasons are complex—shame, fear, and systemic barriers all play a role—but stigma remains one of the biggest obstacles to people getting the help they need.

We believe that storytelling is medicine. That comedy can be a catalyst for change. And that representation matters—especially for those navigating life with a mental health condition.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Depends on a few factors like if you received a reward in exchange for the donation and the value of your donation above that rewards cost, etc. You may contact the nonprofit you donated to directly to receive information on whether or not your donation is tax deductible. Nonetheless, the emailed receipts you will receive for your donation is the documentation you need to make it tax deductible.

How do I know that my donation was made successfully?

You will receive an emailed receipt immediately after your donation is submitted and your credit card is processed. Your donation will also show up on your bank or card statement within 1-3 business days.

Do I get a receipt?

Yes, a receipt is sent to your email inbox once your donation is processed. Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes. If you select a recurring donation, you will be sent an individual receipt each period when your donation is processed.
